It has been a quick and joy filled 12 weeks with my first born son, Nicolas John. I'm overdue in sharing a couple pictures, but here he is. Introducing Nicolas John!
Above is at the daffodils at Laurel Ridge in Litchfield, CT and the two below is at Topsmead State Forest. Topsmead has always been one of my favorite places to visit and certainly photograph. I've never been there prior to this year when the apple trees were blooming with flowers, in fact I never knew apple trees bloomed. No joke! It is absolutely stunning and I'll go back year after year. The trees look like lace and smell heavenly.
This image below was taken at one week old and was used for Nicolas's baptism invite; sadly now most of his baby hair is gone so I'm so happy to have this image. That is Nicolas in my husband John's hands and my Nana's rosary beads.
I had maternity photos done by Amy Weiler out of Florida. Click here

I am also extremely thrilled with the local newborn photographer, Kelli Dease out of Collinsville, CT, that we hired to photograph Nicolas when he was ten days old. Click here

Yesterday my Mother-in-Law brought over some Lily of the Valley from her garden. These adorable, tiny flowers are so fragrant that I want to carry them around with me to enjoy all day. I will be digging up my fresh mulch to plant this beauty in my shady gardens soon. Thank you Fina!
I couldn't resist posting on my own birthday a picture of Roxy in her birthday party collar (purchased in July, a month after her birthday). Any reason to dress up this dog!
